Good day from T.I.G.E.R.S. in Myrtle Beach! We are digging our way out of "Polar Mode" just in time for the 17th Annual Myrtle Beach Marathon!
One of the most exciting aspects of this year’s Marathon is its partnership with The Institute for Greatly Endangered and Rare Species (T.I.G.E.R.S.). T.I.G.E.R.S. is home to an a rare collection of endangered animals like tigers, lions, elephants, bears and baboons. The animals will be featured exhibits at the expo tonight and at checkpoints throughout the marathon, with chimps welcoming racers at the finish lines of the Fun Run, 5K and Marathon!
Race President Shaun Walsh: ” We couldn’t be more pleased with the naming of MyrtleBeach.com as our official title sponsor. This is a perfect fit for the Myrtle Beach Marathon in our 17th year. The MyrtleBeach.com team shares our passion for this event and with their help we can expand our community of runners and visitors to our great city!”

The Fund receives its financing base through a percentage of revenues taken in by T.I.G.E.R.S., the generosity of donations from exhibit guests, and the general public.
